IP Transit Communities

We give preference to received in the following order:

Customer (LP 150 & 140) > Private Peer (LP120 & 110) > IX Peer (LP 105) > Transit (LP 100).
Customer's with multiple transit BGP sessions with Vox have the option of sending Vox communities in order to manipulate the local preference on the Vox Telecom network, as well as the no-export and as-path prepending to Vox customers and/or peers.

11845:9110	110	Set customer route local preference to 110 (equal to private peering backup BGP session)
11845:9125	125	Set customer route local preference to 125 (equal to and above private peering primary BGP session)
11845:9150	150	Set customer route local preference to 150 (above customer's default local preference)
11845:9200	200	Set customer route local preference to 200 (above customer's default local preference)

No-Export:

Prepending:

We reserve the right to preserve or overwrite the following BGP routing attributes received from INX peers:

Communities

We reject default route (0/0), Vox Afrinic Prefix assignments, RFC1918 Private prefixes and RFC6890 Special Use prefixes (martian) from all Transit customers and INX peering points.
